Kilometers: 7
This morning I took the bus to where I left off yesterday, and walked from there down to the St Michael's Mount causeway. The tide was already out, so I could walk across right away. Not like last time when the wind picked up when I was halfway across and some big waves drenched my feet ๐
I started with a free guided tour of the open parts of the island. At it's heyday 300 people lived on the tiny island and there were three pubs! Also, at the pub you wouldn't say "cheers", you'd say "Tin, copper and fish"! Very Game of Thrones-ish.
After my scone and chocolate cake lunch I walked around the island again, now in the sunshine.

Eventually I had to leave ๐ The tide was still out and I could see a lot of people walking on the beach, so I did that too. You just have to keep track of the tide coming in again and where the nearest exit from the beach is. I could walk almost all the way back to Penzance before I had to leave the beach. It was a lovely afternoon and I talked to a lot of people and played with a dog who wanted me to throw his stick, which I did ๐
